Capture Print

In principle, CO2 can be captured from all installations that combust fossil fuels. Capture of CO2 is already common practice in the chemical and gas industry. Preferably, CO2 is captured at large installations like electricity power plants or industrial plants that produce, for example, ammonia, iron and steel, and cement. Capture of CO2 is common practice in the chemical and gas industry. Large-scale capture at power plants has not yet been demonstrated, although there are several commercial-scale projects worldwide due in the next couple of years (including one in Spain and several in other EU countries).
